(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for issuance of direction to respondents No.1 and 2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from respondents No.5 to 8. Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the purpose would be achieved if respondent No.2 - Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, is directed to look into representation (Annexure P-2) moved by the petitioners, in a time-bound manner.
Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners and after perusing the paper-book, but without commenting on merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, to look into the matter and get decided the representation of the petitioner (Annexure P-2) by himself or through some subordinate to him, after hearing the petitioners by passing a speaking order within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
