Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for quashing the impugned Notification dated 13.11.2020 (P-4) and also Office Order dated 29.06.2021 (P-8) issued by respondent No. 2, whereby petitioner was not promoted from C&V to Master Cadre despite being eligible.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel, on instructions from petitioner, wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to challenge the relevant provision of Rules, on the basis of which, case of petitioner for promotion was rejected by the authority concerned.
