Through the present writ petition, prayer is made for issuance of directions upon the respondents to take final decision on the disciplinary proceedings pending against the respondent No.8. 2.

On 12.03.2025, this Court had passed the following order:- "Though on the earlier occasion, this Court has put a specific query, with regard to the maintainability of the instant petition. However, during the course of the arguments, it is surfaced that the departmental enquiry, which was initiated against the respondent No.8, has been stopped, on account of the pendency of the criminal case against him, therefore, the learned counsel for the State, is directed to have apt instructions in this matter, and to disclose, the reasons for not concluding the departmental proceedings against the respondent No.8. The reasons thereof, shall be informed to this Court, by filing a personal affidavit, by the respondent No.2 - Director DEVINDER YADAV 2025.04.25 09:13 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

List this matter on 24.04.2025."

Today, the learned State counsel has, on instructions from the quarter concerned, informed this Court that, during pendency of the present writ petition, both the petitioner and the respondent No.8 were called by the Committee concerned and the final decision on the disciplinary proceedings will be taken within 15 days from today. 4.

In view of the submissions made by the learned State counsel, no further direction is required to be passed. Hence, the present writ petition is closed.

Disposed of accordingly.
