(Oral) The petitioners have approached this Court seeking issuance of a direction to respondents No. 1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners as they apprehend threat to the same at the hands of respondents No. 4 to 8.

Notice of motion was issued to State. Shri Anil Kumar Bhanot, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Dasuya, District Hoshiarpur has filed his reply by way of an affidavit, which is accompanied by statements of Labh Singh, Mohinder Singh, Balwinder Kaur, Akashdeep Singh, Mandeep Singh and Ravi Deep Singh, who have all stated that the petitioners can live their life as per their choice and they would not interefere in their life.
