***** SANJEEV PRAKASH SHARMA, J (ORAL) This is a petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for seeking regular bail in FIR No.150 dated 14.09.2023 registered under Section 306 IPC at Police Station Sardulgarh, District Mansa.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the trial has already been commenced and the petitioner is in custody since 17.09.2023. In view of the long incarceration and that the complainant has already turned hostile, no purpose would be served in keeping the petitioner in the custody. Accordingly, I am inclined to grant bail to the petitioner subject to satisfaction of the trial Court concerned on furnishing personal surety bond to the tune of Rs.20,000/- and a surety in the like amount. However, petitioner shall co-operate in the trial and get the trial completed within a period of 06 months.

Accordingly, the petition stands allowed.
