Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter has been amicably resolved amongst the parties and that the complainant has no objection for grant of bail. It has further been submitted that the petitioner in any case has been behind bars since the last about 10 months and is not involved in any other case. 4.

Shri M.S. Virk, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of complainant and has admitted the factum of compromise. 5.

Learned State counsel while feigning ignorance about the compromise has not disputed the fact that the petitioner has a clean record and has been behind bars since the last about 10 months. It has also been informed that no PW out of the cited 21 PWs has been examined so far.

6.

I have considered rival submissions addressed before this Court. 7.

Bearing in mind the aforestated position wherein the matter is stated to have been compromised and the petitioner otherwise has been behind bars for a substantial period of about 10 months and has a clean record, the petition is accepted and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail subject to his furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of learned trial Court/Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate concerned.
