(Oral) The allegations against petitioner Babli in this regular bail application under section 439 Cr.P.C. are that on 14.4.2015, the petitioner was apprehended while pillion rider motorcycle No. HR-20-AC-7186 and three kgs of opium, a commercial quantity, was recovered from her conscious possession.
The contentions of the counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is lady and is in custody since 14.4.2015 and the trial is not likely to be concluded in near future, are refuted by the learned State counsel by submitting that being lady she is a camouflage to carry out nefarious activities.
Appreciating the submissions, from the allegations it is reflected that commercial quantity of opium has been recovered from the Dalbir Singh Tiwana 2016.08.05 11:21 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.
