Through this petition, filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioners have prayed for quashing of FIR No.07 dated 30.01.2014 for the offences punishable under Sections 379, 427 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code ('IPC' - for short), registered at Police Station City Raikot, District Ludhiana (Annexure P-1).
Learned counsel for the parties have been heard. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner and the complainant are neighbours and the dispute is of a petty nature. He further contends that the efforts on his part to compromise the matter did not materialize.

CRM-M-9260-2015 (O & M) -2after investigation, final report was submitted and the charges were framed on 29.04.2014. Neither the final report is on record nor the order of framing charges. It is also not disputed that the order of framing charges was never assailed by the petitioner.
In view of the above, no ground is made out for invoking the inherent powers under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR at this stage. Dismissed.
