(Oral) This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No.159 dated 26.07.2017 under Sections 381, 420, 120B IPC (sections 408 and 409 IPC added later on), at Police Station Division No.6, Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the State submits that pursuant to order dated December 22, 2017, petitioner has joined investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the above, order dated December 22, 2017, is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
