R.P. Nagrath, J. (Oral) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking direction to respondents no. 1 to 3 to submit status report in FIR No. 84 dated 07.11.2012 for offences under Sections 365, 506, 323, 148 and 149 of Indian Penal Code (IPC), Police Station Sarai Amnant Khan, District Tarn Taran.
Learned State counsel has filed the status report by way of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division, Tarn Taran and the same be taken on record.
Learned State counsel submits that in the instant case cancellation report has been prepared which has also been approved by Senior Superintendent of Police and would be presented in the Court shortly. It is directed that the needful be done within one month.
In view of the above, no further indulgence of this Court is required and the instant petition is disposed of as such with liberty to the petitioner to file objection/protest petition to the cancellation report, which of course has to be decided in accordance with law.
