Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of order dated 05.02.2019 (Annexure P3), passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Chandigarh, whereby petitioner was declared proclaimed offender in complaint bearing No. 1998 dated 02.02.2018 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner was declared proclaimed offender on 05.02.2019, by the learned trial Court and now he is ready to surrender before the learned trial Judge and move an application for granting him bail.

In view of above, present petition stands disposed of with the directions that petitioner shall surrender before the learned trial Court within a period of one week from today and in case he moves any application for granting him bail, the same shall be decided by the learned trial Judge within a period of three days, thereafter.
