NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in case FIR No.103 dated 26.07.2020, under Section 366 IPC, registered at Police Station Jaitu, District Faridkot, Punjab.
Issue notice of motion.
Mr.Rana Harjasdeep Singh, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the State.

Admittedly, the girl in the present case is major and she got married and was also granted protection. The present petitioners are friends of her husband. There is nothing on record to show that the girl is not staying with her husband or does not want to stay with her husband. CRM-M-24573-2020 -2Section 366 IPC is made out against the petitioners or not. In view of the above, the present petition is allowed with a direction to the petitioners to join the investigation and on their doing so, they be released on interim bail subject to their furnishing personal bonds and surety to the satisfaction of the Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, the petitioners shall continue to join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
In case, the petitioners do not join the investigation or do not cooperate in the investigation, the respondent/State shall be at liberty to file an application for cancellation of their anticipatory bail. August 27, 2020 ( NIRMALJIT KAUR ) meenuss JUDGE 1.
