(ORAL) Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for issuance of direction to respondents No.1 and 2 to provide police security/protection of life and liberty to the petitioners and their family members, who apprehend danger of life and liberty at the hands of private respondents. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Sarabjeet Singh, submits that this petition has rendered infructuous in view of the fact that final report under Section 173(2) Cr.P.C. has already been filed against respondents No.5, 11, 13, 14 and 16.
