**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Case is taken up for hearing through video conferencing. This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No. 51 dated 10.3.2020 registered under Sections 363/366 IPC, Police Station Patran, District Patiala (Annexure P-1) and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.
As per office report, notice issued to respondent No.2 has been received back served but no one has put in appearance on his behalf. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has solemnized marriage with Nisha Rani-respondent No. 3 and they have been blessed with a child and prays for quashing of the present FIR.. Respondent No. 2, who is the father of respondent No. 3, has failed to put in appearance, despite service, for the reasons best known to him.
