(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.3 dated 17.01.2017 registered under Sections 447, 511, 380 and 34 IPC at Police Station Sadar Hoshiarpur, District Hoshiarpur along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 31.05.2017 (Annexure P-2). Pursuant to order dated 22.12.2017 of this Court, the parties appeared before learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hoshiarpur, on 17.01.2018 to get their statements recorded. Learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hoshiarpur, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.131 dated 18.01.2018 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Hoshiarpur vide letter No.
1446 dated 18.01.2018. According to the report, learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hoshiarpur, is satisfied that parties have entered into Ravinder Singh 2018.08.08 15:53 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document compromise voluntarily and the compromise is genuine and authentic. No accused has been declared proclaimed offender.
-2CRM-M-49498 of 2017 Considering the report of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hoshiarpur, and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, FIR No.3 dated 17.01.2017 registered under Sections 447, 511, 380 and 34 IPC at Police Station Sadar Hoshiarpur, District Hoshiarpur along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, is hereby quashed, subject to payment of costs of Rs.10,000/-, out of which Rs.6,000/- shall be deposited with the Punjab State Legal Services Authority and Rs.4,000/- with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana.
Petition is disposed of accordingly.
