**** ANOOP CHITKARA, J. (Oral) Seeking rescue of his wife from the clutches of respondent no.4 - Baba and respondent no.5-maid, the petitioner had come up before this Court by filing the present habeas corpus petition.
Vide order dated 09.06.2022, a coordinate Bench of this Court had appointed a Warrant Officer, who was directed to visit the residences of respondents no.4 and 5 and set the alleged detenue free forthwith after recording her statement. Pursuant thereto, the Warrant Officer has submitted his report which is taken on record. As per the report, the Warrant Officer has stated that he had visited residences of respondents no.4 and 5, however, the alleged detenue was not found there. The report further mentions that an FIR was also registered by the petitioner on 24.5.2022 and efforts are being made by the police to trace out the alleged detenue. Given the aforesaid report of the Warrant Officer, no further order is required to be passed in this petition at this stage and the same is rendered infructuous.
