This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioners vide FIR No. 156 dated 26.10.2014 under Sections 307, 148, 149 IPC and sections 25/27/54 of the Arms Act at Police Station City Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib. Learned counsel for the State at the outset submits that petitioner no. 2 has already surrendered before the investigating agency. As regards petitioner no. 1 & 3, he (on instructions from ASI Tejinder Singh, who is present in court) submits that pursuant to order dated March 25, 2015, petitioners no. 1 & 3 have joined the investigation and are no longer required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the above, order dated March 25, 2015 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

Disposed of.
