The present petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in case FIR No.17 dated 23.01.2025, under Sections 96, 137(2), 3(5) of BNS (corresponding to Sections 366-A, 363, 34 of IPC) [offence under Sections 64, 351(2) of BNS) (corresponding to Section 376 and 506 IPC) (Section 6 of POCSO Act, added later on], registered at Police Station Sadar Fazilka, District Fazilka.

Vide order dated 01.05.2026, this Court while granting the concession of interim anticipatory bail directed the petitioner to join investigation.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from investigating officer submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is no longer required.

In view of above, the petition is allowed. The order dated 01.05.2026 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner, is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so by the Investigating Agency and shall abide by the DEEPAK PATWAL 2026.05.27 10:47 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

However, nothing stated above shall be construed as a final expression of opinion on the merits of the case and this order shall not be considered as parity qua any other co-accused. 6.
It is made clear that, in case, the petitioner is found involved in any such activity once again, the present concession so granted shall automatically stand vacated.
