By way of present petition filed under Section 482 CrPC, prayer has been made for quashing of FIR No.0070 dated 09.03.2022 registered under Sections 307, 34, 506 and 341 IPC and Section 25 and 27 Arms Act, at P.S., Sahnewal, District Police Commissionerate Ludhiana with a further prayer for issuance of directions to official respondents to file final report in pursuance to investigation carried out in aforementioned FIR. 2.

Upon advance notice, Mr. Tarun Aggarwal, Sr. D.A.G. Punjab submits that investigation in the aforementioned FIR shall be concluded within a period of 10 weeks from today followed by filing of final report before the Illaqa Magistrate.

In view of the aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to official respondents to conclude the investigation within a period of 10 weeks from today and submit their final report before the Illaqa Magistrate soon thereafter, however, the petitioner shall be at liberty to approach this Court again in case any fresh cause arises. 4.

Disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
