IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M No. 49562 of 2017 DATE OF DECISION :- March 22, 2018 Pardeep Kumar

...Petitioner

Versus

State of Haryana

...Respondent

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE H.S. MADAAN Present:- Mr. G.C. Shahpuri, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Neeraj Poswal, AAG, Haryana.

*** Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Bhoop Singh from Police Station City Jagadhri, District Yamuna Nagar states that petitioner has not joined the investigation in terms of the directions issued by this Court on 15.01.2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he has instructions that the petitioner had fallen down and had suffered injuries, therefore, he was not in a position to join the investigation within time. Even if this contention is taken as true, the petitioner should have informed the Court in that regard and sought further time of joining of investigation rather than keeping quiet. Under the circumstances, the petition stands dismissed for non compliance of the order passed by this Court. (H.S.
