FATEH DEEP SINGH, J. (Oral) The matter has been taken up through video-conferencing on account of outbreak of pandemic COVID19. The petitioner has come up in this civil writ petition under articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking a prayer by way of writ of certiorari quashing the decision dated 10.01.2018 recorded in service book (Annexure P/3) and further issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus by directing the respondent authorities to restore the decision dated 21.11.2013 recorded in the service book vide which the pension of the petitioner was fixed by taking into consideration the length of his

CWP 13917 of 2021 (O&M) service and also to refund the amount recovered from the petitioner, for which, a legal notice dated 12.03.2020 (Annexure P-5) has also been served upon the respondent authorities. Heard.

In the light of oral submissions of the petitioner side the directions are issued to the respondent authorities to duly consider the legal notice dated 12.03.2020 (Annexure P-5) as representation of the petitioner and decide the same in accordance with law by passing a speaking order, preferably, within a period of one month from the date of passing of this order.
