In the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, at Chandigarh Criminal Misc. No. M-49599 of 2017 Date of Decision: 22.12.2017 Gurnam Singh ... Petitioner(s)

Versus

State of Punjab ... Respondent(s) CORAM: Hon'ble Mr. Justice Shekher Dhawan.

Present:

Mr. Himanshu Puri, Advocate for the petitioner(s).

Shekher Dhawan, J.

Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for setting aside of the order dated 18.8.2017, passed by learned Sessions Judge, Kapurthala in case FIR No. 20 dated 5.4.2016, registered under Sections 489-A, 489-B, 489-C & 420 IPC at Police Station Dhilwan, District Kapurthala, whereby bail, granted to the petitioner, was cancelled and he was summoned through non-bailable warrants of arrest.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner was earlier admitted to bail in the present case but on the last date of hearing i.e. 18.8.2017, he could not appear before the learned trial Judge as he was in custody in some other case i.e. FIR No. 171 dated 17.8.2017 and was released on regular bail on 27.9.2017. Learned counsel further contended that petitioner is ready to submit the jurisdiction of the Court. Deepak Kumar Bhardwaj 2017.12.22 12:42 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
