(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of a direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners, with a further direction to respondent No. 3 not to harass them at the influence of respondent No. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and carefully perused the paper-book.
The FIR has still not been registered. In view of the facts and circumstances, there is no basis for showing indulgence by this Court in exercise of its discretion under Section 482 Cr.P.C., at this stage. Dismissed.
However, the petitioners are at liberty to move representation before respondent No. 2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur and on doing so, respondent No. 2 shall look into the same.
