An affidavit of respondent No.3, Jitender Singh, Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineer Division No.1, Rewari, has been filed on behalf of the respondents in the contempt petition. In para-6 of the said affidavit, it has been stated that the bill of the revised pensionary benefits along with interest was sent to the Finance Department for approval on 17.08.2020 and thereafter the same was deposited vide Treasury Pay Order No.1900144532 dated 27.08.2020 in the bank account of the petitioner.

In view of the aforesaid affidavit, learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present contempt petition and seeks permission to withdraw the petition.

The contempt petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Rule discharged.
