**** M.S. RAMACHANDRA RAO, J. (ORAL) Petitioners seek protection of their life and liberty as they apprehend danger at the hands of respondents No. 5 & 6 and other relatives because they have solemnised marriage on 06.06.2022 against the wishes 9of said respondents.
Learned counsel for the petitioners identifies the petitioners on the basis of documents attached. It is contended that petitioners are major, their dates of birth being 28.05.1999 and 12.01.1999, respectively. Aadhar cards of both the petitioners are appended with the petition as Annexures P1 & P2, respectively. Marriage certificate and the photographs of marriage are on record as Annexures P3 and P4. It is submitted that there is no impediment to the marriage of the petitioners. Petitioners, it is stated, submitted representation dated 07.06.2022 (P5) to respondent No.2 i.e., the VIVEK PAHWA 2022.06.14 11:46 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Without commenting upon the age of the petitioners or validity of their marriage or validity and genuineness of the certificates/documents appended with the petition, respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Pathankot is directed to look into representation dated 07.06.2022 (P5) submitted by the petitioners and take appropriate action if any/as may be required, keeping in view the threat perception to the petitioners.
Petition is disposed of accordingly.
