(Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.174 dated 18.10.2012 registered under Section 302 read with Section 120-B IPC at Police Station City Fazilka, District Fazilka. The petitioner is seeking regular bail on the basis of custody since 13.12.2016.

Learned State counsel submits that all the prosecution witnesses have been examined and even statement of accused under Section 313 Cr.P.C. has been recorded. Now the case is fixed for recording of statements of DWs on 28.03.2019.

Keeping in view the stage of trial, no ground is made out to release the petitioner on regular bail.

Dismissed.

However, the trial Court is directed to make all efforts to conclude the trial expeditiously preferably within a period of two months only.
