*** Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he be permitted to withdraw the petition, though he submits that a direction be issued to the trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously.

Permission is granted. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The trial Court is directed to conclude the trial by giving short adjournments preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order in the Court.

Learned counsel for the complainant and learned State counsel submit that they would make every effort to conclude the evidence of the prosecution at the earliest by causing appearance of the prosecution witnesses in the Court. In case of it being not so done, the petitioner may approach the Court again, as per law.
