(Oral) The petitioner seeks grant of the anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in a case bearing FIR No.41 dated 17.05.2022 under Sections 109, 120-B IPC (Section 115 IPC was added later on) registered with Police Station Bariwala, District Sri Muktsar Sahib. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 06.07.2022 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

A short reply dated 26.08.2022 filed on behalf of the respondent-State is taken on record.

The learned State counsel submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation in terms of the order dated 06.07.2022 and is not required for custodial interrogation.

In this view of the matter, interim order dated 06.07.2022 is made absolute.

However, the petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and he shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
