CRM-M-8444-2016 Report bearing No. 150 dated 24.1.2018 of the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barnala has been received wherein after recording statements of accused Hareet Singh Gill, Rubina Gill, Gurtej Singh Gill, Surinder Kaur Sandhu, Deepinder Kaur Sandhu, Paramdeep Singh Sandhu and Satinder Sharma as well as complainant Manpreet Kant and the learned court has shown its satisfaction that the compromise is an outcome of voluntariness, free will and without any coercion or undue pressure. Keeping in view that it is a pure property dispute inter se the family and that compromise will go a long way in resolving the personal dispute and to bring about personal harmony and more-so the offences for which the accused have been booked are not of very serious nature and in view of the law laid down in Gian Singh vs State of Punjab and another, Dalbir Singh Tiwana 2018.05.18 10:01 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.
Criminal Misc. No. M-8444 of 2016 (O&M) -22012 (4) RCR (Criminal) 543 and Kulwinder Singh and others vs State of Punjab and another, 2007(3) RCR (Criminal) 1052 and in view of which the prayer made in the petition is allowed, proceedings by way of FIR No. 243 dated 18.7.2002 registered at Police Station Barnala, District Barnala under sections 420,467,468,471,120-B IPC and all consequences arising thereof are quashed, qua the present petitioners. The petition stands allowed in those terms.
