(ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners who have been summoned under Section 319 Cr.P.C. to face trial under Sections 306/302 IPC in case FIR No. 100 dated 02.06.2017 under Sections 307, 498-A IPC, registered at Police Station Nohianwala, District Bathinda. Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that initially only Satnam Singh and Manjit Kaur had been challaned, whereas the petitioners herein, though kept in column No.2, were declared innocent, have been summoned under Section 319 Cr.P.C. to face trial along with co-accused. Pursuant to the said summoning order, the petitioners herein approached this Court and by order dated 27.12.
2017 were permitted to appear before the trial Court within a period of ten days and were directed to be released on furnishing their bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court. Pursuant thereto the petitioners herein approached the trial Court and Satyawan 2018.02.
CRM-M-49752-2017 -2have been released on bail on furnishing requisite bail bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court vide order dated 02.01.2018. In view of the fact that the petitioners have approached the trial Court and are facing trial, no further orders are called for and bail stands confirmed.
The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
