(Oral) This petition under Section 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of direction to respondent Nos. 2 & 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and further to ensure that they may not be harassed by respondent No. 4, as the petitioners started living together. The grievance of the petitioners is that the petitioner No 1 has left the house of the her first husband and started living in live-in relationship from 07.08.2020 and in this regard they have entered into agreement regarding living in relationship. Petitioners are major.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Deepinder Singh Brar, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-U.T. Chandigarh. This petition is being disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioners to approach respondent No. 2-S.S.P, U.T.
