This petition has been filed Under Section 483 Bhartiya Nagarik Surakasha Sanhita (B.N.S.S.) 2023 (439 of CR.PC.) for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.758, dated 15.12.2019, U/S 109, 114, 148, 149, 201, 302, 120-B IPC (corresponding sections 307, 319-321, 191(3), 190, 238, 103,61 of BNS, 2023) registered at Police Station Sadar Palwal District Palwal (P/1).

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner, along with the co-accused, caused the death of one Krishan by inflicting injuries with an axe. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and has been in custody for the last more than 6 years, 4 months and 11 days and is not involved in any other case. 4.

Mr. Vijay Kumar, learned AAG, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. He has filed the custody certificate of the petitioner in the Court today and the same is taken on record. CRM-M-22253-2026 trial is nearly complete, as only one defence witness remains to be examined, and the next date fixed is 30.05.2026 before the trial Court. 6.

I have heard the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

Considering the stage of the trial, no ground is made out to grant regular bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed.
