Jaswant Singh,J.(Oral) Two residents of Village Lakhowali, Tehsil Jalalabad, District Fazilka, have filed the present petition under Section 482 Cr.PC seeking a direction to respondents 2 to 6 i.e. DGP Punjab Police as also various officials of the Rural Development and Panchayat Department to take action against Sarpanch Suman Bala-respondent no.9 and her husband for having committed various violations of the provisions of Punjab Panchayati Raj Act,1994 and embezzlement of panchayat funds.

It is further submitted that representation seeking redressal of aforesaid grievance has been made to the Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Department, however, no action has been taken so far.

From the reading of the pleadings, it is evident that the RAJINDER PRASHAD JOSHI 2015.08.18 16:36 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court, Chandigarh.

CRM-M 9719/2015 proposed action, if any, is covered under the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act,1994 and for an offence,if any, petitioners are free to file private complaint in accordance with law.

In view of the above, no case for issuing directions under Section 482 Cr.PC is made out.
