(Oral) The present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. was filed seeking issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to investigate the matter and find out the minor girl child of the petitioner. Notice of motion, in this case, was issued on 19.08.2018, pursuant to which a reply dated 29.01.2019 has been filed by way of an affidavit of Sarbjit Singh, PPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police, North, Amritsar City.

As per the aforesaid reply, it has been found that there was a dispute between the petitioner-Manjit singh and his wife-Jaswinder Kaur, who abandoned their daughter-Khushi on 07.11.2015 in the cradle of Red Cross Society, Amritsar with the mutual consent, and thereafter, they took a divorce on 19.05.2016 with the intervention of the relatives. The minor daughter of the petitioner was further sent in the protection and shelter of Children Home, Jalandhar, in pursuance to the order of the Child Welfare SUKHPREET KAUR 2022.04.22 02:30 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Committee, Amritsar and the girl child has since been adopted by someone
