This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioners vide FIR No. 159 dated 18.10.2013 under Sections 498-A/406/342/323 IPC at Police Station Sadar Kotkapura, District Faridkot.

Learned counsel for the State (on instructions from Head Constable Sukhdev Singh, who is present in court) submits that pursuant to order dated 15.01.2015, petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. In view of the above, order dated 15.01.2015 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
