The present case was passed over on two different occasions as the learned counsel representing the petitioner was not present. In the third round, a request for an adjournment has been made on account of the nonavailability of the learned counsel representing the petitioner. 2.

On a Court question, the learned counsel expresses his inability to disclose the reasons for the absence of the learned counsel representing the petitioner.

The writ petition is listed in the urgent list. The petitioner, on attaining the age of superannuation, retired on 31.07.2018. He prays for removal of pay anomaly on the ground that the person subsequently appointed was getting more pay than the petitioner.
