I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

From the record, I find that theft is stated to have taken place on 25/26.1.2018. As per the allegations, the FIR has been got registered by Gurpreet Singh regarding theft of 70 bags of paddy. The present petitioner is named in the FIR on the basis of suspicion along with other persons. He was also nominated in the present case. The petitioner is required for custodial interrogation.

Cr. Misc. No.M-50879 of 2018 [2] Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case and the fact petitioner is required for custodial interrogation, I do not find it a fit case where the petitioner is entitled for the grant of anticipatory bail. Therefore, finding no merit in this petition, the same is dismissed.
