(Oral) The petitioners claim themselves to be major. They have pleaded that they have married against the wishes of respondent No. 4 and seek protection to their lives and liberty. They apprehend danger at the hands of respondent No. 4. They have placed on record photographs (Annexure P/3) evidencing their marriage. The petitioners have also submitted a representation dated 25.12.2017 (Annexure P/4) to respondent No. 2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga to protect their lives and liberty.
Without entering upon an exercise to evaluate the evidentiary value of the documents placed on the file, I dispose of this petition with directions to respondent No. 2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga to decide the representation of the petitioners (Annexure P/4) within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order and grant them protection, if any threat to their lives and liberty is perceived.
