This petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS (Section 482 Cr.P.C) for quashing of order dated 18.03.2026 in FIR No. 3 under Sections 20 & 29 of NDPS Act dated 03.01.2021 registered at Police Station Samalkha District Panipat passed by ld. ASJ, Panipat in case No. NDPS-552021 titled as "State Vs Gurdeep and Anr" whereby the petitioner presence be secured through warrants of arrest.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner could not appear before the learned trial Court due to the death of his father-in-law, on account of which he had gone to Pathankot. Consequently, the learned trial Court cancelled the bail granted to the petitioner, forfeited his bail bonds and surety bonds to the State, and issued non-bailable warrants against him. He further submits that the petitioner is now ready and willing to join the RENU RAWAT 2026.05.14 16.55 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and gone through the case file.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court does not find any legitimate ground to interfere in the impugned order dated 18.03.2026 passed by ld. ASJ, Panipat. However, in case the petitioner surrenders before the trial Court within a period of 07 days from today and moves an application for grant of regular bail, the trial Court is directed to consider and decide the same within a period of three days. 7.
