The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents No.2 and 3 not to harass the petitioners at the instance of respondents No.4 to 7. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners prays for withdrawal of the present petition.

However, vide order dated 19.05.2023, the State was directed to furnish information as to whether any action is proposed to be taken against the priest who solemnized marriage of the petitioners despite the fact that petitioner No.2 was not of marriageable age. 4.

In light of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with direction to respondents No.2 Senior Superintendent of Police District Patiala, Punjab and respondent No.3-SHO Police Station Manju 2023.12.05 17:02 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
