(Oral) This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No.228 dated 24.11.2017 under Section 420 IPC, at Police Station Civil Lines, Patiala, District Patiala. Learned counsel for the parties agree that matter has been settled before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, terms whereof have been reduced into writing. Learned counsel representing the petitioner and the complainant undertake that parties would adhere to the terms of the settlement. Besides, petitioner is stated to have joined investigation pursuant to order dated December 27, 2017.

In view of the above, order dated December 27, 2017, is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
