**** RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK J. (ORAL) Petitioners, by way of instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seek quashing of the impugned FIR No. 169 dated 2.3.2014 under Sections 420/467/468/471/506/34 IPC and Sections 25 of the Arms Act registered at Police Station Jind City alongwith consequential criminal proceedings arising therefrom. Notice of motion was issued.
Learned counsel for the State, while referring to the averments taken in the reply filed by way of affidavit dated 14.8.2014, submits that after conclusion of the investigation, cancellation report has been prepared because the allegations levelled against the petitioners were not substantiated. CRM-M-9944 of 2014 cancellation report has not been submitted to the learned court of competent jurisdiction so far, the same shall be submitted at an early date. He submits that in this view the matter, present petition has been rendered infructous and may be disposed of, as such. Faced wit the above, learned counsel for the petitioners also fairly states that let present petition be disposed of in terms of the statement made by learned counsel for the State. Ordered accordingly.
