***** ARCHANA PURI, J. (Oral) Mr. Bhavdeep Modi, Advocate, has made appearance on behalf of the applicant and filed Power of Attorney, which is taken on record. Mr. Lakshay Bector, Advocate, has made appearance on behalf of the respondent and filed Power of Attorney, which is taken on record. Counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent has no objection if the transfer application is accepted and the guardianship petition is transferred from Ludhiana to Malerkotla.

The application, in hand, has been filed by the applicant/husband, thereby seeking transfer of the guardianship petition titled "Yuvraj Singh v/s Neha Verma", filed by him, which is pending in the courts at Ludhiana and he seeks transfer of the same to the court of competent jurisdiction at Malerkotla.

It is submitted by the counsel for the applicant that the respondent/wife is residing in Malerkotla and one son born from the Sonu 2025.08.11 17:59 I agree to specified portions of this document P&HHC

TA-574-2025 wedlock of the parties to the lis, is also residing with her. Even, one petition under Section 12, 18, 19, 20 and 23 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, is already pending in the courts at Malerkotla and the applicant is making appearance in the same.

Considering the aforesaid circumstances and the statement made by the counsel for the respondent, the transfer application is hereby allowed and the guardianship petition titled "Yuvraj Singh v/s Neha Verma", filed by the applicant, stands transferred from the Family Court, Ludhiana to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Malerkotla. The requisite record of the aforesaid case be sent by the Family Court, Ludhiana, to the District and Sessions Judge, Sangrur.

Learned District and Sessions Judge, Sangrur, shall assign the said petition to the Family Court, Malerkotla. Even, the parties are directed to appear before the Family Court, Malerkotla, within a period of one month from today onwards.
