HARNARESH SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of direction to respondents No.1 and 2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family member from the hands of respondents No.4 to 6 and to inquire properly in FIR no.60 dated 17.03.2022, registered under Section 3 of the SC/ST Act at Police Station Basti Bawa Khel, Police Commissionerate Jalandhar by constituting a Special Investigating Team. At the outset, learned State counsel on the instructions from the concerned Investigating Officer submits that in the present case, challan has already been filed before the Court below on 17.10.2022. Since, the challan has already been presented before the Court concerned, there is no ground to constitute the Special Investigation Team (SIT), at this stage.

Dismissed.
