Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.162 dated 03.08.2020 registered under Section 22 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (Section 29 of NDPS Act was added later on), at Police Station Sadar Nakodar, District Jalandhar Rural.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sarwan Singh submits that the petitioner has joined investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation.
