NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.0101, dated 02.08.2020, under Sections 61 of Punjab Excise Act, 1914, registered at Police Station Taragarh, District Pathankot.
Recovery in the present case is of illicit liquor. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that when the recovery was effected, he was not at home.
Admittedly, recovery was in the house in which he lives. The house belongs to his father. The secret information was also qua him and his mother. Custodial interrogation is necessary to find out the regular customers to whom they were supplying as also the source in case they themselves are the purchasers.
Dismissed.
