JAISHREE THAKUR, J.(ORAL) The instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a direction to the officials respondent Nos. 1 & 2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of private respondents No. 4 to 6. In this regard the petitioner has also approached the authorities by filing a representation dated 22.11.2017 (Annexure P-1). Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied if respondent No.2 be directed to look into the representation dated 22.11.2017 (Annexure P-1) and take action in accordance with law, in a time bound manner.

Notice of motion.

Mrs. Anju Arora, learned Addl. Advocate General, Punjab who is present in the Court, accepts notice on behalf of the State. Three copies of the petition be handed over to her by learned counsel for the petitioner during the course of the day failing which no action is called for. She submits that the representation dated 22.11.2017 (Annexure P-1) will be decided within a period of four weeks.
