Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for quashing impugned Transfer Order dated 11.05.2022 (P-1), passed by respondent No. 2, whereby petitioner was transferred from Devi Garh Division I.B., Patiala to Ferozepur Circle, Department of Water Drainage, Ferozepur.

Learned State Counsel, on instructions from Mr. Harshpreet Singh, Executive Engineer, has apprised the Court that impugned transfer order has been withdrawn by the competent authority; therefore, present petition be disposed off as having been rendered infructuous. Ordered accordingly.
