The present petition has been filed for directing the District Magistrate-cum-Appellate Tribunal, Kurukshetra, to conclude the proceedings in case bearing No.05/DC/05/2026 titled as 'Satbeer Kaur Vs. Desh Raj' in a time bound manner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that an application under Section 23 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act, 2007, was filed by the grandfather-in-law, which was allowed. The petitioner filed an appeal against the same, which is pending. The difficulty with the petitioner is that in other civil suit, which is decreed in favour of the bank, the bank has filed execution and forcing the petitioner to pay the loan amount, which was taken for the husband of the petitioner in the name of the petitioner and she is not having any money to repay the loan amount.

In view of the above, the present petition is allowed. Learned District Magistrate-cum-Appellate Tribunal, Kurukshetra, is directed to decide the case bearing No.05/DC/05/2026 titled as 'Satbeer Kaur Vs. Desh Raj' expeditiously, preferably within six months on day to day basis. 4.
