During the course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a juvenile and was barely 14 years of age at the time of occurrence and that his date of birth is 29.5.2006. 2.

Faced with the aforestated position, learned State counsel submits that in case the aforestated factual position regarding date of birth of the petitioner is found to be correct, the State shall proceed strictly in accordance with provisions of Section 12 of The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015.
